Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Central Panthers (Independence, OR), 78-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cascade upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA) to clash with the Braves in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 10-0. St. John Bosco won 74-33 in their recent non-league bout against Sprague (Salem, OR)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Silverton Foxes (Silverton, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette bout, on Thursday, January 5. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
