Edinburgh Lancers (Edinburgh, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Trinity Lutheran Cougars (Seymour, IN), 62-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Edinburgh upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Hagerstown lost 54-39 in their recent non-league bout against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN)

Next up, the Cougars play the Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 23. Trinity Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Shiners come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 53-35 non-league win over Oldenburg Academy (Oldenburg, IN).
