The Mendon Unity Mustangs basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Griggsville-Perry Tornadoes to 39 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.

With the win, Mendon Unity upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, December 26. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Bushnell-Prairie City lost 58-43 in their recent non-league bout against Knoxville (Knoxville, IL)
