In Saturday's non-league outing, the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) basketball squad felled the visiting Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA), by a margin of 70-57.

The Rockets (8-0) will now prepare for their outing against Northern Durham (Durham, NC). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Northern Durham thwarted East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 46-38, in a league outing.

The Comets now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Franklin County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 20. Halifax County will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 58-50 non-league win over Bassett (Bassett, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
