December 17, 2022: Russia, OH 45363 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Russia Raiders (Russia, OH) and the visiting Troy Christian Eagles (Troy, OH), saw Russia's basketball squad wallop Troy Christian by a count of 73-46.
With the victory, Russia upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Fort Loramie (Fort Loramie, OH) to play the Redskins in a Shelby County challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 4-1.
Next up, the Eagles play the Northridge Polar Bears (Dayton, OH) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Troy Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 59-52 league win over Bethel (Tipp City, OH).
