Texas High School Basketball - Shiner tops St. Joseph
December 17, 2022: Victoria, TX 77901 Shiner Comanches (Shiner, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host St. Joseph Flyers (Victoria, TX), 59-50 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Shiner upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Comanches host Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX) to play the Brahmas in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Brahmas come into the bout with a record of 3-11. Hallettsville lost 67-64 in their recent league bout against Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX)
Next up, the Flyers play the Ingleside Mustangs (Ingleside, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 85-49 non-league loss to Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX).
