In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Meadowdale Mavericks basketball team scored a tight 65-64 triumph over the Lake Washington Kangaroos.

In their next game, the Mavericks meet the Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 22. Meadowdale will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
