California High School Basketball - Esperanza nips Mark Keppel
December 17, 2022: Anaheim, CA 92807 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) and the visiting Mark Keppel Aztecs (Alhambra, CA), saw Esperanza's basketball squad hold off Mark Keppel by a tally of 49-47.
With the victory, Esperanza improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Aztecs travel to Fullerton (Fullerton, CA) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 26. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Fullerton lost 62-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Beckman (Irvine, CA)
Next up, the Aztecs play the San Gabriel Matadors (San Gabriel, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Mark Keppel will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Matadors come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 65-37 non-league loss to South Pasadena (South Pasadena, CA).
