The Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA), 61-49 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Rockets (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Northern Durham (Durham, NC). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record.

The Comets now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Franklin County for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Halifax County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 51-38 non-league win over Bassett (Bassett, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.
