Austin Achieve Polar Bears (Austin, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Smithville Tigers (Smithville, TX), 45-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Austin Achieve upgrades its record to 3-7 on the year. The Polar Bears travel to LBJ Austin (Austin, TX) to face the Jaguars in a 4A Region IV District 25 battle on Friday, December 20. The Jaguars enter the battle with a record of 6-11.
