Tennessee High School Basketball - McMinn County sneaks past Bradley Central
December 17, 2024: Athens, TN 37303 The McMinn County Cherokees basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Bradley Central Bears to 58 in the Cherokees non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cherokees now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Moore for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. McMinn County will play a Mustangs team coming off a 86-79 non-league win over Fern Creek (Louisville, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Bradley Central falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Sevier County (Sevierville, TN) to play the Smoky Bears in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Smoky Bears go into the game with a record of 5-1.
