December 17, 2024: Buckley, MI 49620 The Traverse City Christian Sabres basketball team scored 76 points and limited the host Buckley Bears to 47 in the Sabres non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Sabres now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Manton for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Traverse City Christian will confront a Rangers team coming off a 56-38 non-league loss to Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI). The Rangers record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Buckley falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bears host Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI) to confront the Huskies in a Northwest game on Friday, December 20. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 2-3. Benzie Central won 55-52 in their recent non-league game against Brethren (Brethren, MI)
