Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL), 48-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Central advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Bears travel to Angeline Academy of Innovation (Land O' Lakes, FL) to meet the Archers in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Archers enter the match with a record of 0-10.

The Pirates now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hudson for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. Crystal River will confront a Cobras team coming off a 80-54 non-league loss to Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Cobras record now stands at 1-10.
