Medina Bobcats (Medina, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Charlotte Trojans (Charlotte, TX), 54-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Medina upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Bobcats host Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX) to face the Angoras in a 1A Region IV District 31 match on Friday, December 20. The Angoras enter the match with a record of 0-5. Rocksprings lost 57-30 in their recent non-league match against Harper (Harper, TX)

The Trojans now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stacey for a 2A Region IV District 30 match on Friday, December 20. Charlotte will face a Eagles squad coming off a 58-49 non-league win over Poteet (Poteet, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-7.
