Coolidge Bears (Coolidge, AZ) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ), 47-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Coolidge advances its record to 9-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ) to meet the Falcons in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 9-3. Alchesay won 54-45 in their recent non-league match against Ganado (Ganado, AZ)

The Eagles now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Douglas for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. Thatcher will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 78-75 non-league loss to Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-4.
