With the victory, Franklin advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Murphy (Murphy, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 19. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 0-1. Murphy lost 70-51 in their recent league battle against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC)

The Mountaineers now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brevard for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 18. Tuscola will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 82-32 non-league loss to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-2.
