December 17, 2024: Winthrop, MN 55396 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers (New Ulm, MN) and the host Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds (Winthrop, MN), observed Minnesota Valley Lutheran's basketball team knock off Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop by a score of 70-56.
The Chargers (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN). The Bulldogs come into the AA Section 2 challenge with a 3-2 record.
