In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Wake Prep Academy Guardians basketball team scored a big 50-28 win over the Iron Academy Swordsmen.

The Guardians (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC). The Phoenix come into the 1A/2A Super Six contest with a 1-5 record.

In their next game, the Swordsmen battle the C.H. Friend Red Jackets (South Boston, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Iron Academy will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.
