Ohio High School Basketball - Wapakoneta holds off Jefferson
December 17, 2024: Delphos, OH 45833 The Wapakoneta Redskins basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Jefferson Wildcats to 48 in the Redskins non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Redskins now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ottawa-Glandorf for a Western Buckeye game on Friday, December 20. Wapakoneta will confront a Titans team coming off a 62-51 non-league loss to Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH). The Titans record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Jefferson falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Allen East (Harrod, OH) to confront the Mustangs in a Northwest game on Friday, December 20. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 3-2. Allen East lost 62-58 in their recent non-league game against Elida (Elida, OH)
