The Montgomery Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting The Pingry School Big Blue to 47 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Immaculata for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Montgomery will play a Spartans team coming off a 65-60 non-league win over Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
