Maine High School Basketball - Winslow nips Morse
December 17, 2024: Winslow, ME 04901 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME) and the visiting Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME), observed Winslow's basketball team edge Morse by a score of 47-46.
The Black Raiders (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME). The Huskies come into the B North challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Maine Central Institute nudged Erskine Academy (South China, ME), 46-36, in a league bout.
With the loss, Morse falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Shipbuilders host Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME) to play the Eagles in a B South bout on Thursday, December 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Lincoln Academy lost 57-31 in their recent league bout against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME)
