December 17, 2024: New Washington, IN 47162 The Salem Lions (Salem, IN) basketball crushed the host New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN), 76-46 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host West Washington for a non-league bout on Friday, December 20. Salem will play a Senators team coming off a 45-43 non-league win over Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN). The Senators record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, New Washington falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN) to play the Shiners in a non-league bout on Friday, December 20.
