Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Seneca Valley thwarts North Allegheny
December 17, 2024: Wexford, PA 15090 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA) and the host North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA), observed Seneca Valley's basketball team knock off North Allegheny by a score of 47-39.
The Raiders (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Indians come into the WPIAL 6A 1 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, North Hills prevailed over Butler (Butler, PA), 69-65, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 1 challenge, on Friday, December 20. North Allegheny will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Rams come into the outing with a 2-3 record after their 55-47 non-league loss to Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, PA).
