December 17, 2024: Jacksonville, AL 36265 White Plains Wildcats (Anniston, AL) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL), 49-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, White Plains advances its record to 6-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Cherokee (Cherokee, AL) to meet the Indians in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Indians enter the match with a record of 3-8. Cherokee won 50-46 in their recent non-league match against Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL)
The Raiders now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gaston for a 2A Area 13 match on Friday, December 20. Pleasant Valley will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 52-46 league win over Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-10.
