Michigan High School Basketball - Anchor Bay holds off Oxford
December 17, 2024: Fair Haven, MI 48023 The Anchor Bay Tars basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Oxford Wildcats to 54 in the Tars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tars now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Dakota for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Anchor Bay will confront a Cougars team coming off a 43-36 non-league loss to Cousino (Warren, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Oxford falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Troy (Troy, MI) to confront the Colts in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Colts go into the game with a record of 0-4. Troy lost 67-25 in their recent non-league game against Howell (Howell, MI)
