December 17, 2024: Leland, MI 49654 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Leland Comets basketball team scored a big 58-24 triumph over the Bear Lake Lakers.
The Comets (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI). The Norsemen go into the Northwest contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Suttons Bay was trounced by Northern Michigan Christian (McBain, MI), 29-23, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lakers confront the Walkerville Wildcats (Walkerville, MI) in a West Michigan D contest, on Wednesday, December 18. Bear Lake will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 38-25 league loss to Marion (Marion, MI).
