Michigan High School Basketball - Buckley overwhelms Bear Lake
February 3, 2025: Buckley, MI 49620 The Buckley Bears basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Bear Lake Lakers to 26 in the Bears non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bears now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Benzie Central for a Northwest game on Wednesday, February 5. Buckley will confront a Huskies team coming off a 66-41 league loss to Glen Lake (Maple City, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Bear Lake falls to 14-3 on the campaign. The Lakers host Mesick (Mesick, MI) to confront the Bulldogs in a West Michigan D game on Wednesday, February 5. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 1-11. Mesick lost 38-13 in their recent non-league game against Leland (Leland, MI)
