In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars basketball team scored a good 46-26 win over the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats.

The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Howells-Dodge (Howells, NE). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Howells-Dodge was topped by West Point-Beemer (West Point, NE), 39-29, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Omaha Christian Academy Eagles (Omaha, NE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Cedar Bluffs will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 64-11 non-league loss to Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE).
