Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Freedom Area falls to Union Area
December 17, 2024: Freedom, PA 15042 The Freedom Area Bulldogs basketball squad (Freedom, PA), was outscored 52-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA)
With the victory, Union Area advances its record to 6-0 on the year. The Scotties travel to Aquinas Academy (Gibsonia, PA) to meet the Crusaders in a WPIAL 1A 1 battle on Thursday, January 16. The Crusaders enter the battle with a record of 4-4.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochester for a WPIAL 2A 1 battle on Thursday, December 19. Freedom Area will meet a Rams squad coming off a 65-29 non-league win over Ellis (Pittsburgh, PA). The Rams record now stands at 3-3.
