New York High School Basketball - Warsaw toppled by Genesee Valley
December 17, 2024: Belmont, NY 14813 Genesee Valley Jaguars (Belmont, NY) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Warsaw Tigers (Warsaw, NY), 43-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Genesee Valley advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Jaguars host Friendship (Friendship, NY) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-4. Friendship lost 66-22 in their recent non-league match against Avoca Central (Avoca, NY)
The Tigers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Letchworth for a Section 5 Livingston 2 match on Friday, December 20. Warsaw will face a Legends squad coming off a 55-41 non-league loss to York (Retsof, NY). The Legends record now stands at 1-2.
