Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbard West overwhelms Proviso West
December 17, 2024: Hillside, IL 60162 The Glenbard West Hilltoppers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Proviso West Panthers to 25 in the Hilltoppers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hilltoppers now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Grayslake Central for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Glenbard West will confront a Rams team coming off a 60-22 league win over Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Rams record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Proviso West falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Proviso East (Maywood, IL) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 4-4. Proviso East lost 52-34 in their recent league game against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL)
