Nebraska Christian Eagles (Central City, NE) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host High Plains Storm (Polk, NE), 61-53 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Nebraska Christian advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Sutton (Sutton, NE) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-2. Sutton won 59-18 in their recent non-league match against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE)

The Storm now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Giltner for a non-league match on Friday, December 20. High Plains will face a Hornets squad coming off a 62-14 league loss to Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE). The Hornets record now stands at 1-4.
