In Tuesday's league test, the Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), by a score of 47-37.

Next, the Golden Hawks encounter the Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 20. Holly Springs will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 8-1 record after their 63-23 league win over Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC).
