Texas High School Basketball - Hull-Daisetta knocks off Spurger
December 17, 2024: Daisetta, TX 77533 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats (Daisetta, TX) and the visiting Spurger Pirates (Spurger, TX), observed Hull-Daisetta's basketball team overcome Spurger by a margin of 42-30.
The Bobcats (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Goodrich (Goodrich, TX). The Hornets come into the 1A Region IV District 28 challenge with a 6-12 record. In their last challenge, Goodrich dropped by Chester (Chester, TX), 53-10, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Burkeville Mustangs (Burkeville, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 28 challenge, on Friday, December 20. Spurger will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 73-4 league loss to Brookeland (Brookeland, TX).
