In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Jim Ned Indians basketball team scored a close 40-36 win over the Wylie Bulldogs.

The Indians (16-1) will now prepare for their contest against San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy (San Angelo, TX). The Eagles come into the 3A Region I District 6 contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy was tipped by Wall (Wall, TX), 84-18, in a league contest.
