New Jersey High School Ice Hockey - Marlboro holds off Red Bank Regional
December 17, 2024: Little Silver, NJ 07739 The Marlboro Mustangs ice hockey team scored 2 points and held the host Red Bank Regional Bucs to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now hold a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ocean Township for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 18. Marlboro will play a Spartans team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Red Bank Regional moves to 1-2 on the season. The Bucs host Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-3.
