December 18, 2024: Oakhurst, NJ 07755 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Marlboro Mustangs (Marlboro, NJ) and the host Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ), witnessed Marlboro's ice hockey team defeat Ocean Township by a score of 3-0.
The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, St. John-Vianney by Middletown North (Middletown, NJ), 8-4, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Brick Township Green Dragons (Brick, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Ocean Township will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Green Dragons come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ).
