The Dixie Flyers basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Hurricane Tigers to 58 in the Flyers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Flyers now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Crimson Cliffs for a 4A Region 9 game on Friday, December 19. Dixie will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 66-63 league win over Pine View (St. George, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Hurricane falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Pine View (St. George, UT) to confront the Panthers in a 4A Region 9 game on Friday, December 19. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 7-3. Pine View lost 66-63 in their recent league game against Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT)
