The James River Midlothian Rapids basketball team scored 88 points and limited the host Richmond High School for the Arts Bulldogs to 42 in the Rapids league triumph on Wednesday.

The Rapids now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clover Hill for a Dominion outing on Wednesday, January 7. James River Midlothian will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 62-40 league loss to Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-4.

The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Mavericks come into the non-league outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Freeman routed Prince George (Prince George, VA), 46-39, in a non-league outing.
