The Augusta Elks (Augusta, MT) basketball nipped the visiting Belt Huskies (Belt, MT), 58-51 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Elks (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Shelby (Shelby, MT). The Coyotes go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Shelby got by Rocky Boy (Box Elder, MT), 67-57, in a league test.
