The Raiders now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canton for a Mid-Illini battle on Monday, December 20. East Peoria will battle a Little Giants team coming off a 54-36 league loss to Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Little Giants record now stands at 1-6.
The Hornets (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL). The Tornadoes come into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Abingdon/Avon edged Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL), 60-58, in a non-league battle.
