In Saturday's non-league outing, the McLeod Longhorns (McLeod, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX), by a count of 56-51.

The Longhorns (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Detroit (Detroit, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A Region II District 16 outing with a 2-11 record.

The Eagles now hold a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Quitman for a 3A Region II District 13 outing on Tuesday, December 21.
