Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE), 43-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Clarkson/Leigh upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Lakeview (Columbus, NE) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 21. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Lakeview lost 43-35 in their recent league bout against David City (David City, NE)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Centura Centurions (Cairo, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 28. Howells-Dodge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Centurions come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 58-54 non-league loss to Ord (Ord, NE).
