Illinois High School Basketball - Hononegah trounces Sterling
December 18, 2021: Sterling, IL 61081 The Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) basketball crushed the host Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL), 58-19 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Indians (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Moline (Moline, IL). The Maroons go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Moline walloped Quincy (Quincy, IL), 44-32, in a league test.
The Golden Warriors now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Naperville Central for a non-league test on Saturday, December 18. Sterling will encounter a Redhawks squad coming off a 66-34 league loss to Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Redhawks record now stands at 6-4.
