Illinois High School Basketball - Naperville Central overwhelmed by Hononegah
December 23, 2021: Naperville, IL 60540 The Hononegah Indians basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Naperville Central Redhawks to 45 in the Indians non-league victory on Thursday.
The Indians now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Forest for a non-league contest on Monday, December 27. Hononegah will battle a Scouts team coming off a 50-36 non-league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Scouts record now stands at 7-5.
The Redhawks (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Friars come into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Fenwick was routed by Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL), 40-30, in a non-league contest.
