South Dakota High School Basketball - Riggs overwhelms Spearfish
December 18, 2021: Spearfish, SD 57783 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD) and the host Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD), saw Riggs's basketball squad wallop Spearfish by a tally of 57-34.
With the victory, Riggs improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Governors travel to Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD) to confront the Patriots in a AA challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 30. Spearfish will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
