California High School Basketball - Covina overwhelms Bassett

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Covina Colts (Covina, CA) and the visiting Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA), saw Covina's basketball squad wallop Bassett by a tally of 62-9.

With the victory, Covina improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Colts host California (Whittier, CA) to play the Condors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Condors come into the challenge with a record of 8-6.

Next up, the Olympians play the La Puente Warriors (La Puente, CA) in a Miramonte challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Bassett will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 67-34 non-league loss to Jordan (Los Angeles, CA).
