Wisconsin High School Basketball - Bloomer tops Hayward
December 18, 2023: Hayward, WI 54843 Bloomer Blackhawks (Bloomer, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hayward Hurricanes (Hayward, WI), 67-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bloomer upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Osseo-Fairchild (Osseo, WI) to play the Thunder in a Cloverbelt - West bout on Thursday, December 21. The Thunder come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Osseo-Fairchild won 81-79 in their recent non-league bout against Altoona (Altoona, WI)
Next up, the Hurricanes play the Cameron Comets (Cameron, WI) in a Heart O'North bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Hayward will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Comets come into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 75-40 non-league win over Regis (Eau Claire, WI).
