Wisconsin High School Basketball - Barron overwhelmed by Bloomer
February 6, 2024: Bloomer, WI 54724 The Bloomer Blackhawks basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Barron Golden Bears to 43 in the Blackhawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Blackhawks now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fall Creek for a Cloverbelt - West contest on Thursday, February 8. Bloomer will battle a Crickets team coming off a 74-39 non-league win over Melrose-Mindoro (Melrose, WI). The Crickets record now stands at 10-9.
The Golden Bears (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Maple, WI). The Tigers come into the Heart O'North contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Northwestern triumphed over Ashland (Ashland, WI), 75-63, in a league contest.
