December 18, 2023: Creighton, NE 68729 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack (Elgin, NE) and the host Creighton Bulldogs (Creighton, NE), saw Elgin/Pope John's basketball squad wallop Creighton by a count of 76-42.
With the victory, Elgin/Pope John upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Riverside (Cedar Rapids, NE) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Riverside won 73-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Twin Loup (Sargent, NE)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Boyd County Spartans (Spencer, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Creighton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 39-38 non-league win over Hartington-Newcastle (Hartington, NE).
